To continue celebrating our 20th Anniversary, MSA Theatre presents the 1998 revival version of Kander and Ebb's smash musical hit CABARET. This fast-paced show mixes an iconic score with humor and history, as it tracks private lives on the brink of disaster. Set in 1929–1930 Berlin during the twilight of the Jazz Age, as the Nazis are ascending to power, the musical focuses on the glamorous nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub and revolves around American writer Clifford Bradshaw's relations with English cabaret performer Sally Bowles. On Broadway, CABARET won twelve Tony Awards, including Best Musical and later Best Musical Revival. As the title song says, "Life is a Cabaret, Old Chum, come to the Cabaret."
